Zoroastrianism is one of the first religions that existed 1500 years BC. It is a cult that advocates the existence of an omnipotent and omnipresent supreme being. Water, earth, air and fire are the constituents of this religion. You will distinguish on the spot a desert environment and the presence of the lake, which favour religious practices. You will also discover the ruins of the Sassanid temple dedicated to Anahita, the goddess of water, who advocates the power of fertility. You will also observe the Zoroastrian shrine.

Zendane Soleyman is a prison located 3 kilometres from Takht-e Soleyman. It is a building with tenacious myths and legends. According to a legend, King Solomon defeated several demons and threw them into a mountain in which there was a deep hole, which would be the very mountain located next to Takht-e Soleyman. Although it has been built for centuries and is part of the ruins of the site. Its incredible architecture reveals raw earth bricks, and it displays a volcanic shape.

Takht-e Soleyman is rightly known for the considerable mass of mountains that contribute to its charm. The landscape of this region captivates the attention of all visitors who explore it. There are peaks of incomparable height. The highest is 4850 meters.
