Therefore, the number of people coming here is increasing year by year.

Gaynar Baba is fed by the warm water source Akkoz. Kaynar Baba means, "Boiling spring". Due to its medical qualities, it is more effective than the famous Matsesta waters. People from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan come here seeking for healing. However, if we take into account that there is no other reservoir in the whole territory of the Karlyuk steppe in a few dozen square kilometres, it is already a rich source of fresh water. Honestly, water enriched with compounds of gypsum, is not so tasty. Temperature of the water is constant throughout the year. In summer, water refreshes the body pleasantly, and in winter, it warms you. The medical season continues all over the year.

The lake was formed at the mouth of an underground spring, bursting with a powerful ascending stream at the foot of Kugitang. The water flow is almost two cubic meters per second. Carp and other fishes can be found in the lake with reeds and seaweed. Three large irrigation ditches, dug by the first settlers at the dawn of our era, and the southern channel is the most recent tributary of the mighty Amyderya.
