In Koytendag, near the village of Hojapil, there is a valley called Kyrkgyz within the Hojapil Limited Nature Reserve of the Koytendag State Reserve. The walls of this amazing valley are 200 meters high and the width is 15 to 300 meters. If you walk a few hundred meters in the direction of the valley, you will reach a large dome-shaped cave. It has a fountain on its right. The water of this spring is considered an ointment. The water flows in the form of a drop from above, falls on the surface like a large cauldron, and accumulating there.
There are two legends about this valley. First, it is said in ancient times there were forty beauties living near this valley. They came to the cave every day, rested, and took a dip. One day the village was attacked by the enemy, the girls were hiding, but the enemies found the place where the girls were hiding. They surround the cave, trying to catch the girls. The girls begged God not to be caught. At that moment, a miracle occurred, the rocks shifted, the passage opened, and the girls entered from there and disappeared. The rocks were closed and the girls were forever hidden from the enemies. The clothes and utensils left by the girls in the cave turned to stone. Even now, if you look closely, you will find stones reminiscent of household utensils and utensils.
The second legend says that enemies have been poured out on the people living here. The villagers, in consultation, hide the village's daughters. Enemies took men captive and enslaved women. Girls were told, "We will send a message if we escape the enemy." The villagers then escaped the enemy. They then sent messengers after the girls. The girls who saw the long-distance messenger, thinking that the enemy was coming, threw themselves into the cave and perished.
Forty Girl Caves is one of the largest caves, 10 meters high and more than 30 meters wide. The stone figures in the cave are similar to the sculptures of the girls.
Nowadays, people go there to visit. They make a wish, wrap the mud of this place in cloth, and throw it to the roof of the cave. It is said that if this piece of cloth clings to the roof, that person's dream comes true.
